Arab Finance: Prices of basic commodities and vegetables experienced varied movements on Tuesday, October 6, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The price of a kilogram of packaged rice hit EGP 34.8, marking a decline of 0.6% daily.
Packaged flour went up by 0.6% to EGP 26.5 per kilogram.
Sugar was recorded at nearly EGP 33.8 per kilogram, up 1.1% daily.
The sunflower oil dropped by 0.5% to EGP 102.4 per kilogram.
Regarding vegetables, a kilogram of tomatoes stood at EGP 23.1, a daily fall of 16.6%. Meanwhile, the price of onions jumped by 7.8% to EGP 17.7 per kilogram.
