Arab Finance: Global silver prices plummeted on Thursday, as oil prices fell more than $1 a barrel after the US and Iran agreed to hold talks, weighing on prices in Egypt   

"We saw extreme volatility in precious metals and other commodities this week, and what we are witnessing today are some aftershocks," Tony Sycamore, an analyst at broker IG, told Reuters.

The silver 999-Karat price in Egypt recorded EGP 151 for buying and EGP 156 for selling, as per Isagha.

Meanwhile, the 925-karat price hit EGP 140 for purchase and EGP 144.25 for sale.

The ounce hit to $76.175 for purchasing and $76.501 for selling.
