Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with Indian Ambassador to Cairo Ajit Gupte ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the health sector, according to a statement by the health ministry on February 16^th.

Abdel Ghaffar and Gupte discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of exchanging vaccine manufacturing technology.

The two officials also probed further cooperation in the medical tourism sector, in addition to the establishment of medical tourism centers in the two countries.

The meeting also tackled benefiting from the experiences of the two countries in the family planning system, as the two sides agreed on the importance of developing an advanced roadmap in this regard.

For his part, the Indian diplomat hailed the successful approach adopted by the Egyptian government to upgrade the health sector in the country.
