Arab Finance: The Egyptian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has joined forces with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to further support the small enterprises in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as per a statement.
Under the project "Reviewing Small Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Policies in Egypt," MSMEDA, in partnership with the OECD, facilitates a meeting of the "Small Enterprises and Entrepreneurship Policies Working Group."
Chaired by Tunisia and Italy, the session focuses on empowering small enterprises in the MENA region, particularly in areas of digitization, green transformation, and financial transition to the formal sector.
MSMEDa's CEO Basil Rahmi highlighted Egypt's role in supporting small projects and entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2017 to bolster SMEs, MSMEDA operates through 33 branches nationwide, offering services to entrepreneurs across various sectors.
