CBE withdraws EGP 1.07T surplus liquidity after Eid El-Adha holiday

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has withdrawn EGP 1.073 trillion of excess liquidity at banks in the first fixed-rate auction after Eid El-Adha holiday on June 25th, according to the central bank’s data.

The CBE accepted all the bids submitted by 32 banks, with a fixed rate of 27.75%.
