Arab Finance: The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has partnered with Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) and the Swiss elevator and escalator manufacturer Schindler to localize the supply, assembly, testing, and operation of some elevator components in Egypt, as per a statement.

The localization will serve several projects affiliated with Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities.

Under the agreement, the AOI and TMG will establish a facility where Schindler will assemble and test the elevators, in addition to providing technical assistance and managing the facility.

The facility is expected to supply up to 5,000 elevators annually over a period of up to 10 years.

It is also expected to create numerous job opportunities in the local market and provide accreditation and professional licensing certificates.
