The Kaimidi Chemical Egypt project is targeted to become the largest producer of calcium hypochlorite in both Egypt and Africa, with an expected annual output of over 40,000 tons.

The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase slated to begin production by May 1st, 2025.

Additionally, the factory is expected to create more than 100 direct job opportunities.

During the ceremony, Gamal El-Dein expressed optimism about the project, noting its potential to enhance the success of the SCZone and further strengthen Chinese investments in Egypt.

He also highlighted that the partnership has already attracted over 160 companies, with total investments exceeding $2 billion, generating approximately 50,000 jobs.
