Arab Finance: The Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib has met with a delegation from Standard Chartered to discuss the bank’s investment plans in the Egyptian market over the coming period, as per a statement.

The meeting also reviewed the bank’s ongoing programs in Egypt in the field of project financing.

During the meeting, El-Khatib highlighted the distinctive investment opportunities for the bank in the country, particularly in the domains of renewables and export insurance and guarantee.

On the other hand, the delegation stated that the bank aims to further expand in the Egyptian market by leveraging its global network of branches while delivering the best banking services.

Moreover, the delegation stressed the bank’s commitment to bolstering the Egyptian economy and fostering economic advancement and prosperity in Egypt.
