SCZONE welcomes green fuel localization partnerships in meeting with JETRO

Arab Finance: The General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) is open to partnerships with various parties to localize the green fuel industry and meet the global needs of this new energy, the authority’s Chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dein said in a meeting with a delegation of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The meeting was held in the presence of representatives of several major international companies operating in the field of green hydrogen and a number of the SCZONE officials. 

Moreover, Gamal El-Dein stressed the need for collaboration between all parties and concerned authorities to achieve significant progress in the green fuel sector.

He also presented the authority’s vision to become a hub for green fuel industry through Egypt Green Hydrogen project, which began operation 10 months after it was announced at COP27.
