Arab Finance: The Ministry of Military Production has launched TUYA Technology Company, specializing in information systems, digital transformation, and data management, as per a statement.
The company aims to support government and private institutions by offering system design, business development, maintenance, and efficient data handling to achieve results quickly and cost-effectively.
It also focuses on using technological solutions to address challenges, replacing traditional methods.
As its first initiative, TUYA Technology signed a partnership agreement with Spanish company OPENKM, a leader in digital document management.
The partnership includes integrating OPENKM’s global software packages into the digital document system of the National Authority for Military Production.
TUYA Technology, formerly known as Military Production Company for Information Technology, is a key player in Egypt's software and IT sector.
The company has already signed agreements with various ministries, including a project for ticket prepayment on 1,800 Cairo Public Transport Authority buses and forming a trade information center for the Internal Trade Development Authority.
TUYA has also contributed to national digital transformation initiatives such as the ration card system, comprehensive health insurance, agricultural projects, and network integration for ministries and natural gas filling stations.
