El-Wazir unveils results of Robbiki Leather City’s factories offering

Arab Finance: Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir announced the results of the first offering of the ready-to-go factories in Robbiki Leather City’s third phase, according to an official statement.

All the 43 offered factories witnessed an exceptional demand from investors, according to El-Wazir.

He added that 98 investors registered through the Egypt Digital Industrial Platform to purchase the book of specifications.

All the submitted offers were studied and only 29 applications have been approved as they met the requirements.

Cairo for Investment and Development Company previously called local and international investors to submit their offers for 43 ready-to-go factories for leather production and related industries under the third phase in Robbiki Leather City.

The facilities developed in the third phase for fully manufactured leather products will be integrated within the leather industry sector.

They will serve as a key export base for Egyptian leather products to expand into global markets.

Cairo for Investment and Development Company agreed to fully allocate the first offering’s factories after accepting 29 investment applications, with the offering coverage rate exceeding 100%.

It is worth highlighting that projects implemented within the Robbiki City receive an additional 50% of the value of the export burden refund for exported products.
