Arab Finance: Gold prices in Egypt declined on Monday, with the 24-karat falling to EGP 4,662.75 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,685.75 for selling, iSagha’s data revealed.
The 22-karat gold price also retreated to EGP 4,274.25 per gram for buying and EGP 4,295.25 for selling.
Likewise, the 21-karat gold declined to EGP 4,080 per gram for purchasing and EGP 4,100 for selling.
The 18-karat gold price also shrank to EGP 3,497.25 per gram for buying and EGP 3,514.25 for selling.
The gold pound recorded a plunge, hitting EGP 32,800 for selling and EGP 32,640 for buying.
Finally, the gold ounce’s price decreased to $2,898 for purchasing and $2,898.27 for selling.
On the global level, Gold prices increased on Monday, as the dollar weakened following a decline in US retail sales in January.
