Egypt, Lebanon forge strategic agreement to boost energy cooperation

Arab Finance: Egypt and Lebanon reached a strategic agreement during the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPS 2025) to strengthen energy cooperation, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced.

The agreement focuses on supplying Egyptian natural gas to Lebanon to help ease the energy crisis there.

The cooperation is strategic rather than purely commercial, aiming to support Lebanon’s stability and serve the common interests of both countries.
