Arab Finance: Korra Energi has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (TMEIC) to supply power and automation systems for data centers and industrial customers in Egypt and the wider region, according to a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The partnership covers uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for large data centers. The systems are designed to provide reliable, efficient power while reducing energy consumption and operating and cooling costs.
For industrial customers, the agreement covers motors, drives, automation systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), power converters, and heavy-duty industrial motors.
The partnership also supports its plans to expand, improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to the transition toward clean energy and hydrogen.
