Arab Finance: The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) indicated a daily drop in the prices of meat, fish, and dairy products on Monday, October 26.
A kilogram of meat fell by 0.2% to EGP 451.9, while the price of tilapia fish decreased by 1.6% to EGP 87.4 per kilogram.
Packaged milk fell by 1.5% daily to EGP 45.9 per liter, while a carton of white eggs fell by 3.8% to EGP 111.7.
Meanwhile, the price of white poultry rose by 1.5% daily to EGP 88.9 per kilogram.
This recorded drop reflects improvements in supply chains and the availability of goods through government outlets, in a move aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens.
