Passenger traffic growth in Egypt is expected to exceed the global average, ranging between 3.4% and 3.8% over the 2024–2050 period, the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) said, citing the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said Egypt’s aviation sector has strong long-term growth potential, forecasting passenger demand to grow at an annual rate of 3.4% between 2024 and 2050 under its mid-range scenario.
