Parliament to discuss draft law on customs-free car imports for Egyptians abroad

The Egyptian Planning and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives has approved referring the draft law enabling Egyptians abroad to import customs-free cars to the parliament’s coming general session to be discussed.

Egypt extends registration deadline for tax-free car import initiative to May 14th

The deadline for registering in the tax-free car import for expats' initiative and paying for its determined deposit is on May 14th. There is no intention to extend the deadline again after May 14th, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait stated.
