The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Commercial Bank of Egypt (CIB) to provide technical and financial support for micro, medium and small enterprises (MSMEs).

The Egyptian cabinet has approved a draft presidential decree for the EU Support to the Next Generation agreement, focused on backing child protection systems in Egypt with by an €8 million grant from the European Union (EU).

The Ministry of Finance will disburse EGP 1.9 billion on August 8th to support 560 export companies under the seventh phase of the immediate cash payment initiative to repay arrears owed to the Exports Development Fund.

The cabinet has approved carrying on the initiative supporting the industrial and agricultural sectors’ projects, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait stated.
