EU to allocate additional financial support to Egypt

Arab Finance: The European Union (EU) has decided to allocate additional financial and economic support to neighboring countries, including Egypt, as per a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The EU’s decision came during a summit held in Brussels as part of the midterm review of the European budget for the period 2021-2027.

The ministry did not mention the size of these allocations.

Egypt is currently grappling with a challenging economic situation marked by a dollar crisis that has significantly impacted the country's financial stability.
