Arab Finance: The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has met with officials from the French Schneider Electric to review the initiative proposed by the company to build 1,000 smart homes in Egypt, as per a statement.
Madbouly noted that the government is keen on studying this initiative, stressing the importance of being cost-effective and that the elements needed to establish these smart buildings’ digital systems shall be manufactured in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).
The smart homes aim to reduce carbon emissions significantly and ensure continuous power supply.
