Arab Finance: Egypt and Equatorial Guinea have signed three agreements in several fields, as per cabinet statements.
The first agreement was inked by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Equatorial Guinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to mutually exempt holders of diplomatic, special, and mission passports from visa requirements.
The agreement also allows members of diplomatic and consular missions or accredited employees of international organizations to enter, leave, transit through, and reside in the other country’s territory without a visa as long as the accreditation procedures are completed within 30 days of arriving.
Moreover, the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Guinean ministry in the field of diplomatic studies.
The MoU aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Egypt and Equatorial Guinea, particularly in the field of training diplomats.
In addition, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has signed an MoU with the Equatorial Guinean Ministry of National Security in the field of security cooperation.
