Jumia Egypt appoints Hisham ElGabry as new CEO

Arab Finance: The e-commerce platform Jumia Egypt has named Hisham ElGabry as the company’s new CEO, the firm tweeted on March 7^th.

ElGabry has been leading the company’s commercial team as its CCO since 2022.

Jumia’s new CEO enjoys 17 years of experience in the e -commerce and communications fields.

Prior to joining Jumia, ElGabry was part of Amazon EU, where he held several leadership positions, including the leadership of the UK fashion market.

“E-commerce is growing very fast and Jumia Egypt will continue focusing on its unique strength points, most notably: striving for customer satisfaction, providing easy and safe payment methods, a strong partnership with local and international brands, banking services providers, as well as logistics partners” Hisham ElGabry, said.
