Orascom Development starts delivery of 1st phase units in O West

Arab Finance: O West, one of Orascom Development’s integrated towns in West Cairo, has started delivering its first residential units in Whyt and Tulwa phases this month, according to an emailed press release on May 2nd.
The town plans to hand over more than 350 villas, ranging between standalone villas, twin houses, and townhouses, with areas spanning between 195 to 610 square meters (sqm), in the Whyt in 2023.
As for the Tulwa, approximately 1,650 fully-finished apartments ranging in size from 100 to 455 sqm will be delivered this year.
This announcement was made at a press conference celebrating the deliveries and following up on the latest construction progress in O West.
The conference was attended by founder of Orascom Development Holding Samih Sawiris, Group CEO of Orascom Development Holding Omar El Hamamsy, Head of the Hadayek October City Authority Mohamed Mostafa and CEO of O West, Makadi Heights, and Byoum Tamer Dawidar.
"O West is the first Orascom Development town in Cairo, characterized by integration between all project elements and supported by global expertise spanning more than 33 years," Samih Sawiris, Founder of Orascom Development, said.
For his part, Tamer Dewidar noted that O West is keen on accelerating construction for timely delivery of units, confirming today's delivery as evidence with 1,000 units on track to be delivered in 2023 alone.
