Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 201,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder valued at $102 million from the country’s ports over the period from June 16th to 22nd, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on June 26th.
The released fodder included 129,000 tons of corn worth $46 million, 72,000 tons of soybeans worth $54 million, and feed additives worth $2 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to June 22nd, 2023, to 6 million tons, including 4 million tons of corn and 2 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3 billion.
