Egypt connects Raven field with GASCO's Western Desert Gas Complex in Alexandria

Arab Finance: Egypt has connected Raven gas field, which is being developed by the British multinational oil and natural gas firm bp Plc, with the Western Desert natural gas complex in Alexandria, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced on July 10th.

The Western Desert gas complex is being operated by the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) in Alexandria.

GASCO has constructed a 70-kilometer line to transport natural gas of the Raven field from the Rashid region to the Western Desert complex, GASCO’s Head Yasser Salah revealed.

Additionally, the company has extended a 5-kilometer link to transport natural gas from the Raven field to the Amriyah Butane Gas Factory, Salah said.
