Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 284,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder valued at $141 million from the country’s ports over the period from August 4th to 17th, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on August 21st.
The released fodder included 224,000 tons of corn worth $81 million, 60,000 tons of soybeans worth $45 million, and feed additives worth $15 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022, to August 17th, 2023, to 7.2 million tons, including 5.2 million tons of corn and 2 million tons of soybeans and feed additives valued at a total of $3.3 billion.
