Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat met with Executive Vice President of HSBC Bank David Eldon to mull ways of strengthening cooperation, the Egyptian ministry stated on September 16^th.

They discussed methods of bolstering cooperation with investment and multilateral development lenders.

The meeting also touched on the current global challenges that hinder development efforts.

This came on the sidelines of the eighth Belt and Road Summit being held in Hong Kong.

Al-Mashat also held talks with Hong Kong Finance Minister Paul Chan Mo-po to probe methods of stimulating green financing tools and boosting cooperating in offering financing tools in the Hong Kong market.

Moreover, the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation had a discussion with Chief Executive of Hong Kong (Lee administration) John Lee on the best ways to benefit from Hong Kong's position as one of the largest global financial centers.
