Trade Minister, EFIA discuss ways to cope with economic challenges

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir has met with members of the Egyptian Federation of Investors Associations (EFIA) to discuss ways to alleviate the current challenges faced by businessmen and investors, a statement showed.

Samir noted that the country is currently preparing an integrated national industrial development strategy to back local industries as well as to cope with the persistent global economic crises.

The strategy aims to achieve a high industrial growth rate, scale up the industrial sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP), and increase the country’s exports.
