Arab Finance: The Egyptian government is considering offers worth around EGP 8 billion to partner with investors in the real estate sector within the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat told Asharq Business.

The potential partnerships include ones with Saudi investors, Esmat noted, adding that the firms affiliated with the ministry will provide the lands needed for the projects, while the investors will execute the development works.

Esmat stressed that Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development is one of the companies that will enter into an agreement in the coming period, denying the sale of any stake in the firm.

The minister said that the ministry is working on growing the royalties of all its unexploited real estate assets and lands.
