Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange's (EGX) Listing Committee has approved the temporary listing of 1.6 billion shares in MNT-Halan, representing an issued capital of EGP 160 million, as per a disclosure.
The shares, divided across two issuances, carry a par value of EGP 0.10 each and will be added to the EGX database under the non-banking financial services sector on September 15, 2026. The company will be traded on under the ticker (HALN.CA) once trading begins.
The listing follows the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) non-objection, issued on September 13, 2026.
The provisional listing will become null and void if the company does not complete the offering and meet all listing conditions within the six-month period. The FRA may extend the deadline after assessing the company’s justifications and proposed timetable.
In June, Bloomberg reported that MNT-Halan is planning an initial public offering (IPO) on the EGX.
The IPO is expected to value MNT-Halan at between $900 million and $1 billion, the sources revealed.
