Arab Finance: Egypt and Thailand discussed ways to strengthen economic and investment cooperation, boost trade, and attract more investment to the Egyptian market, according to a statement.
This came during a meeting between Hussein Eissa, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and Lertsak Panatchaikul, Second Deputy Speaker of Thailand’s House of Representatives.
Eissa highlighted the government’s efforts to improve Egypt’s investment climate by providing incentives and facilities to support investors and encourage business expansion.
He also outlined the state’s competitive advantages, including its strategic location as a gateway to Arab, African, and global markets, as well as its network of free trade agreements that provides investors with access to regional and international markets.
The official also called on Thai companies to expand into key sectors, reaffirming the Egyptian government’s readiness to provide the necessary support and incentives to the investors.
For his part, Panatchaikul expressed Thailand’s interest in expanding bilateral economic, investment, and trade cooperation, asserting that Thai companies seek to foster their business by leveraging the opportunities Egypt offers.
