Fertilizers, building materials jump on August 5

Arab Finance: Prices of fertilizers and building materials rose on Wednesday, August 5, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

Ammonium sulfate was priced at EGP 19,253 per ton, reflecting a daily increase of 4.6%.

Likewise, the ammonium nitrate climbed by 1.2% to EGP 25,708 per ton.

Urea amounted to EGP 26,036 per ton, increasing by 1.2% daily.

In the building materials segment, the price of grey cement rose by 1.5% to EGP 4,183 per ton.

Investment-grade steel grew by 2.2% to EGP 38,696 per ton, while Ezz Steel jumped by 1.6% to EGP 40,018 per ton.
