Arab Finance: Prices of food commodities and vegetables varied in Egyptian markets on Tuesday, October 13, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The price of packaged rice amounted to EGP 34.90 per kilogram, a daily increase of 0.4%.
Sugar’s price fell by 1.5% to EGP 32.90 per kilogram, while the price of packaged pasta dropped by 1.5% to EGP 32.40.
The price of sunflower oil rose by 1.7% to EGP 103.80 per kilogram.
In the vegetable segment, both tomatoes and onions retreated by 0.8% to EGP 22.10 and EGP 18.10 per kilogram, respectively. Meanwhile, the price of lemons increased by 3.6% to EGP 36.30.
