Intesa Sanpaolo launches new wealth management advisory model in Egypt

Arab Finance: Intesa Sanpaolo has launched a distinctive advisory model within its international banks, inspired by the best practices of Fideuram, according to an emailed press release.

Following the launch of the new brand positioning campaign, "Bank on the Right Advice", the group is introducing an advanced advisory approach in Central and Eastern Europe and Egypt.

Built on personalised advice and long-term client relationships, the initiative represents another key milestone in the execution of Intesa Sanpaolo's 2026–2029 Business Plan, presented by CEO Carlo Messina.

The new model has been launched with an initial financial advisor network already operating in Slovakia and Hungary and will be gradually extended to other countries, including Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Egypt.

By the end of the business plan, Intesa Sanpaolo aims to build a network of approximately 1,200 financial advisors and 2,500 relationship managers, serving up to one million affluent clients across its international markets.

The model will enable financial advisors to provide an even more client-centric service through greater flexibility in where and when they work, while combining the local knowledge of Intesa Sanpaolo's international banks with the capabilities and global strength of one of Europe's leading banking groups.

Paola Papanicolaou, Chief of Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division, commented: “The launch of the Financial Advisors network marks a further step forward in the strategic development of our international banks and strengthens their role as a driver of the group’s growth beyond Italy.”

Papanicolaou added: “Our goal is to further enhance the level of service and personalization in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and in Egypt, leveraging the expertise of local distribution networks and supporting clients in their financial decisions as a trusted partner, capable of providing clear, responsible and tailored advice within strong, long-lasting relationships.”
