Lecico Egypt records 27.8% YoY lower consolidated profits in H1 2026

Arab Finance: Lecico Egypt registered consolidated net profits attributable to the shareholders of the holding company of EGP 135.183 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, according to the income statements.

This marks a 27.85% year-on-year (YoY) decline from EGP 187.378 million in H1 2025.

Sales fell to EGP 4.389 billion from EGP 5.568 billion, while earnings per share (EPS) dropped to EGP 1.69 from EGP 2.34.

Non-consolidated net profits after tax surged to EGP 119.703 million in the first six months of 2026 from EGP 78.052 million a year earlier, while EPS climbed to EGP 1.18 from EGP 0.84.

Likewise, net sales increased to EGP 2.996 billion in H1 2026 from EGP 1.617 billion in H1 2025.

At the end of March 2026, Lecico Egypt’s consolidated net profits attributable to the parent company plummeted by 37.9% YoY to EGP 67.963 million from EGP 109.468 million.
