The agreement covers Ramla on Egypt’s North Coast, District 5 in New Cairo, Aeon Towers in 6th of October City, and Mall of Arabia. Orange Egypt will design, install, and operate telecommunications networks tailored to the requirements of each project.

At District 5, the company will deliver Triple Play services to residential units and high-speed internet connectivity to businesses and commercial spaces. The package is intended to support the development’s combination of residential, commercial, and urban facilities.

Aeon Towers will receive fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks designed to serve residents and businesses, alongside ultra-fast internet services for its commercial units. Marakez describes Aeon Towers as the first residential tower development of its kind in West Cairo.

Orange Egypt will also introduce Triple Play services at Ramla, comprising ultra-fast broadband internet, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and fixed-line voice services. Public Wi-Fi will be available across the development’s beach areas, while hotels and commercial units will gain access to high-speed internet.

At Mall of Arabia, the partnership involves installing and developing an intelligent closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system for the first phase of the mall, as well as providing public Wi-Fi for visitors. The planned systems are expected to support the customer experience and the mall’s operations.

The two companies said the partnership forms part of their efforts to develop connected communities and mixed-use destinations equipped to respond to the changing digital requirements of residents, visitors, and businesses.
