Arab Finance: The Sovereign Fund of Egypt's (TSFE) board of directors has appointed Kassem Hassan Kassem as CEO of its Industry Sub-Fund and Infrastructure & Utilities Sub-Fund.
Kassem brings more than 25 years of executive management and leadership experience, having held various positions at multinational corporations, including Procter & Gamble, Mars, and Samsung, with operations spanning manufacturing and exports.
Before joining TSFE, he served for more than five years as CEO and board member of French Group SEB, where he oversaw the company's operations, leading efforts to expand its local manufacturing and export activities.
Kassem holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ML) from Ain Shams University, which he obtained in 2000.
He has also completed several specialized executive education programs, including advanced management studies at HEC Paris, courses in direct investment and venture capital at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and a specialized credit program at EFG Hermes.
