Egypt approves the public budget for fiscal year (FY) 2025/26, with total expenditures reaching EGP 4.6 trillion and revenues estimated at EGP 3.1 trillion, according to the Egyptian cabinet. 

The budget reflects a deficit of EGP 1.5 trillion and a targeted primary surplus of 4%.
