Public Investments in Giza & Gharbia Governorates in FY 2022/23

Egypt has allocated a total of EGP 76 billion to implement 557 projects in the governorate of Giza serving 9.4 million citizens, under the current fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023 investment plan, marking a 15% increase from the previous FY plan, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced.

Meanwhile, the government will invest EGP 3.9 billion in the governorate of Gharbia for the benefit of 5.4 million citizens, with an 8% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
