Remittances from Egyptians Abroad Surge

Remittances from Egyptians abroad surged to $17.1 billion in the first half (H1) of the current fiscal year (FY) 2024/25, reflecting an 80% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to $9.5 billion in the same period of 2023/24, according to the data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
