Global Auto Group, the official importer of BMW, BMW i, and MINI automobiles in Egypt restarted the assembly of luxury models of the BMW brand in Egypt after a hiatus of five years. 

 BMW’s targeted investments would reach $100 million, offering about 2,000 job opportunities, according to a joint report from the Embassy of Germany in Cairo and the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC). 

The factory will produce 10,000 cars annually of 21 BMW models via 3 production lines. Egyptian local components in BMW cars will be 45%.
