Trade exchange between Egypt and Brazil fell by 18% year on year (YoY) in 2023 to $3.4 billion, according to data by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The top exported goods included fertilizers worth $183 million, iron and steel for $46 million, and processed fruits and vegetables valued at $38 million.
The top products that Egypt imported from Brazil were cereals worth $726 million, iron ore for $607 million, and sugar worth $568 million.
