Egypt’s Unemployment Drops in Q4 2023

The unemployment rate in Egypt hit 6.9% during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023, inching down by 0.2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), according to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

The workforce totaled 31.956 million.
