Egypt raises cement prices

Arab Finance: Cement factories have hiked cement prices by EGP 50 per ton, Head of the Building Materials Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed El-Zeini told Asharq Business.

The decision will be effective on Wednesday, January 3^rd.

The price of a ton of cement after the increase will range between EGP 1,800 and EGP 1,900 for traders, while the price to the consumers will range between EGP 2,050 and EGP 2,250, according to El-Zeini.
