Arab Finance: The Suez Canal Authority’s (SCA) Chairman Osama Rabie has met with the CEO of Italy’s shipping company Messina Line Ignazio Messina to discuss potential cooperation opportunities in the field of logistics services, the SCA stated.

This is part of the SCA’s strategy to diversify income resources by launching logistics and offshore projects to serve the international trade in the region, the authority’s Chairman Ossama Rabiee stated.

For his part, Messina noted that his company is seeking to increase the number and tonnage of the vessels passing through the Suez Canal in the coming period.
