Arab Finance: Emirates NBD Egypt has issued new three certificates of deposit (CDs), as per an emailed press release.
The first one is a three-year CD with an annual yield of 40.5%, with the minimum amount for issuance starting from EGP 100,000 and multiples of EGP 1,000.
This CD enables clients to obtain a loan that represents up to 30% of the certificate’s value.
The bank also unveiled the eight-year CDs, with a variable annual yield of 18.89%. This CD is issued with a minimum amount of EGP 5,000 and multiples of EGP 1,000.
Meanwhile, the third one the triple saving certificate offered at three fixed annual interest rates of 21%, 21.5%, and 22%, each disbursed monthly, quarterly, and annually.
