Arab Finance: Emirates NBD – Egypt has signed the United Nation’s ‘Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)’, an initiative launched by UN Women in collaboration with the UN Global Compact, as per an emailed press release.

The signing signals the bank's dedication to fostering gender equality and empowering women in both the workplace and society at large.

Embracing these principles will enable Emirates NBD - Egypt to build on a workplace culture that values inclusivity and diversity.

Consequently, this will contribute to the country’s efforts in recognizing the sustainable development goals outlined in Egypt Vision 2030.

This strategically aligns with our vision for driving sustainable development and fostering inclusivity in the workplace, propelling societal advancement and boosting the Egyptian economy,” Amr El Shafei, CEO and Managing Director of Emirates NBD - Egypt, stated.
