Arab Finance: The Egyptian cabinet has approved the import of one million tons of sugar for the current year, as per a statement.

The import will commence immediately with 300,000 tons as a first phase, a process already initiated by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that the upcoming phase will witness the provision of sugar in large quantities in the markets, aiming to completely resolve this issue.
