Arab Finance: Egypt has set the closing time of shops, restaurants, malls, cafes, and bazaars at 2 am during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, according to a statement on March 6th.
Restaurants will be allowed to run delivery and takeout services around the clock.
Supermarkets, groceries, bakeries, and pharmacies are excluded from this decision.
The new closing time will be effective as of March 10th, until the end of Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Workshops inside residential areas must close their doors by 10 pm during this period, with an exception for those on highways and fuel stations.
