Orange Egypt, Ericsson team up to foster digital transformation

Arab Finance: Orange Egypt has selected Ericsson as a strategic partner to ramp up its digital transformation and develop a resilient technological structure across its network, ss per an emailed press release.

The move aims to enable superior service experiences for Orange’s consumers and optimize partner ecosystem.

Both firms have inked a multi-year agreement, covering the deployment of Ericsson’s Catalog Manager and Order Care products, which are part of Ericsson’s Business and Operations Support Systems (Core Commerce) portfolio.

This will provide Orange Egypt’s customers with increased flexibility via the digitization and personalization of the subscription process.

Additionally, the new technologies will offer Orange Egypt further data and insights into customer preferences.

Ericsson will also upgrade its current Ericsson Charging solution at Orange Egypt to achieve the full potential of new charging capabilities under its monetization goals.

“The extension of our long-standing partnership with Ericsson will fast-track our efforts to build advanced digital infrastructure across our network. The move represents a new milestone in our shared efforts to shape a connected world,” Orange Egypt’s CEO Ayman Amiri commented.
